The virtual terminal uses the latest 128-bit SSL
(Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology, so security is state of the
art. Only you have access, and your login is protected by a PIN number.
There is no need to purchase SSL or a SSL Certificate to use the virtual
terminal.

How
can I take a payment over the phone?
Answer:
The Virtual Terminal is ideal for a mail order /
telephone order business because it lets you input new transactions using a web
based direct payment gateway connection to the payment processor.
Transactions go into processor merchant account and you will be notified
immediately if the payment is approved. You can accept both credit cards
and electronic checks. The processor offers other services that can be
used to process payments over the phone, including processing by PC software, or
batch processing.
